The 3D-GLOBE education is a 3-dimensional atlas with 18 maps in high-resolution. Almost all important topics are covered, e.g.:

• Climate and climate change
• Vegetation cover
• Topography & tectonics
• Population

All maps have been calculated from data provided by highly-reputated research organisations. Additional information and entertainment is achieved by the following functions:

• 3D-flights over land and sea bottom
• 3D-illuminations with changing sun levels and directions
• Stereoscopical 3D-views (analglyphs) of all maps

The 3D-GLOBE is licensed under the terms of CREATIVE COMMONS 3.0 -BY-NC-ND- and may be distributed for non-commercial purposes without any restrictions.

There is one version for download (630MB) and another in high-resolution on DVD (6GB). The DVD-ROM can be purchased separately fo 20 US $ plus postal fees. We are also looking for public web servers to provide you a free link for download as well.
